Habitat For Humanity Brampton ReStore is a retail outlet, open to the public, that sells quality used and surplus building and home improvement materials at a fraction of retail prices. Proceeds from ReStores fund the construction of Habitat homes in the community. Customers save 50 to 80 percent off retail prices.  Merchandise comes from local companies with end of the line merchandise, contractors with excess supplies, demolition crews salvaging reusable materials, or from the public.

But the Habitat for Humanity Brampton’s ReStore offers more than you might think.  A wide range of both used and NEW products donated by companies in your community are always available.

A Socially and Environmentally Conscious Decision

Purchasing from the ReStore isn’t just good for your pocket book, but it is also good for your community and the environment.  All of the funds generated at the ReStore fund Habitat for Humanity Brampton and cover the charity’s administrative fees. This means that all the money raised by Habitat for Humanity Brampton through corporate and individual giving goes directly towards local builds . . . so families in your community can have safe, quality housing. When you donate to or purchase from the ReStore, you literally ReStore hope to these families.

Your purchase also helps the environment since many products sold at the ReStore are new, gently used or customer returns that would otherwise end up in a landfill. You can also help to reduce waste by donating materials and items to your local ReStore instead of throwing them out. Please consult the list of acceptable items before bringing items to the ReStore.  We can’t think of a better way to reduce, reuse and recycle while saving money and helping a family in your community. Everyone wins!
